Just noticed that this album now has an alternate cover on streaming & Bandcamp. Looks sick, just noting it here as I go back to listen for like, what, the 500th time?

Haven't compared it to the digital version, but this is one that definitely benefits from some EQ tweaking and a slight push of the volume knob. Forever a classic album. RIP Rashad

Great album, but unfortunately this press is pretty shit. Stereo image is not as wide as digital and the high end seems to be cut too.

An all time classic. Quality pressing by Optimal, very quiet and the embossed jacket is a nice touch.

But I'm not impressed with the actual lacquer cut here. It's not terrible, but in an A/B test against the CD and it doesn't hold up. music lacks punch and depth. The drums, which are such an essential part of the mix sound washed in comparison to the crispness I'm used to hearing. Overall pretty dull in my opinion.

Additionally it's missing Last Winter, which you may say was just a "bonus" but is one of my favorite moments on the CD.

Hoping that Hyperdub reissues this soon and gets Matt Colton or Barry Grint to cut the lacquers.
