One of the best 12" records ever released by Capitol Records. The B-side version by Najee was also a popular record on the air as well as in clubs when it came out. Freddie was coming off his Rock Me Tonight album and it seemed like there was nothing that could slow him down. This 12" and the song established him as a force in the R/B side of the music business. This was a number one R/B single for him.
