This really is a beautiful looking and sounding release. The band has a ton of energy and you can really tell that they were ready to get out and start playing together again!

Uneven pressing for me. Bass and drums are way too low for much of the pressing, then, interestingly, there are portions of a few tracks where the bass is overwhelmingly loud. Both guitars and bass suffer from significant distortion at times, particularly side A. The least good sounding live Dead record in my collection, and that's a shame, because it's a great performance. Still has it's highs, and I'm glad to have it.

Sounds awesome. I’d say it’s up there with the Mars Hotel that mofi put out.

Still probably the best sounding Dead on vinyl that I own, or maybe even the best sounding rock vinyl I own. Perhaps I’m just sentimental about this recording. Sounds phenomenal. Close your eyes and you’re there! Well, maybe light some incense or something else too and go stand in line to get into your bathroom.

word of warning my copy arrived with a bunch of damage. every LP coated in scuffs and scratches, with disc 1&3 having warping issues but not quite enough to jump the needle out (seemingly caused by the packaging). considering the price point i'm pretty pissed about this. what was there sounded clean and crisp, but there were a variety of noise issues present presumably because of the surface damage. Side A is also pretty aggressively cut and will probably kick up some IGD on most setups, so if music never stopped is your #1 track maybe steer clear

mine's getting returned and i doubt I'll have another chance to get this one for a reasonable price here in the UK, and in all honesty I don't think the vinyl copy sounds any better than the FLAC soundboard or the CD release other than it's got a thicker, bassier sound. easily remedied on the digital versions with a pinch of EQ imo. it's a lovely collectors piece but I don't think I'd have been happy dropping £65 on this one even if it was totally a totally pristine copy, but i'm somewhat stingy with picking up vinyl.

also having to entirely change the LP during long jams is pretty weak. a side flip isn't so bad but having to stop and change the record every time I hear drums coming to a close kind of sucks, but I guess that's the nature of live dead on vinyl

Beautiful sounding pressing for the most part. Disc 2 does have some more surface noise, as another reviewer said. It also has a really bad skip in the middle of Crazy Fingers on side D, which is really disappointing. Will try cleaning to see if that helps.

Bought this cd when it came out in the 90's and recently got the Jan21' release and this baby sounds sweet. Its all good, and this show has always meant something special to me so really happy to hold it as a vinyl release. God Bless GD Vinyl...

Great sounding copy. I just picked up the 2021 release, all records are flat and quite. So happy to finally have this one in the collection. Only disappointment is the sleeves these come in, do your self a favor and change the records out of the original sleeves these come with as they cause a residue to form on the LPS that will not come off. Doesn't affect play just leaves marks on the records.

I bought this back in 2019 and disc two was noisy. In fact I tried two copies, both noisy with frequent pops. I just got the 2021 repress this week, exact same issue with disc two. Otherwise it sounds outstanding. Love this show. I'll be keeping this copy since this pretty much proves I won't be getting a quiet disc two.
