My copy is brillant. Perfect sounds and clean vinyl without any pops or whatsoever.
I cleaned it, but that standard for new vinyl these days.
So before complaining give it a cleaning and than judge again.

Desert island record. Brilliant. I have 3 copies. This original press and 2 white presses. This one is perfect not a pop or click other than an issue i will Describe in a bit. One white is pretty clean the other has some pops and clicks. The black is the best rthe 2nd white is great though. All 3 exhibit something interesting. It have to be in the mother. When one goes to place the needle down for Harlem river It seams like the grooves in that area have fallen over slightly. The needle can run up in the groove not deep and well tracked. It doesn’t happen when you play from the track before I to Harlem river as it’s tracking. Already. It just seems to have a hard time dropping into the track. This is not all the time either so there is a spot it can get back in. This is on all 3 copies. I have an amazing system. Lyra kleos cart, vpi prime 21 table and Sutherland tz-vibe pre. I hear everything lol.

The music is absolutely fantastic but the pressing is not great … there are clicks and pops - I have had 2 versions and it s always the same - it s shame - still a great record

I'm looking to buy a copy, seems like the white Vinyl is the one to get. I had a quick look on Ebay, there is a guy that has 10 of them, listed as white but no Catalogue number or detail, I thought it was supposed to be a press of 500?. Anyone with experience of this?

Not sure why people are trying to sell this for $130+ in the marketplace when it is still readily available from the Woodsist website for $17.50 here:

One of these great masterpieces by music in such a bad sound/vinyl quality. See comments below and they are right. Unbelievable. Harlem River will be stand the Test of time. For sure.

I bought several black vinyl copies and now I will stop.Totally fed up. Horrible pressing quality for such a great album. Some of my purchased copies were even missing the lyric sheet and download code despite being sealed and featuring the Woodsist sticker. Will buy the CD version now.

Hoping for a near future reissue on vinyl !!
Because I bought this record last week and discovered that there is a lot of hiss during playback. When I pulled the record out of the inner sleeve the first time there was a large amount of paper dust on the record(both sides)so I tried using Spin Clean to clean the record for dust. But it has proven futile. I’m going to return it to the seller and get ahold of a CD copy!
Otherwise it is a great album.

As everyone already said, bad press quality. On the plus side it does look like my needle is riding a roller coaster...weeee!
