Reviews
- The design of the front of the record cover is a reference to the cover of the book "The Manual (How To Have A Number One The Easy Way)" by The KLF. They took the pyramid and replaced the cassette recorder by a symbolized Roland TB 303. The picture of the TB 303 as the typical acid synthesizer in addition to the artist name and the title "1987" as a date for the period of this music is a homage to acidhouse. This coverdesign represents the typical 'Erkrankung Durch Musique artwork' - to quote from historical originals and to put it in a new context.
- Edited 17 years agoThis album is really nice! Every track brings a lot of funk and tries to join 80s/90s acid spirit with modern grooves at a speed from 110 to 130 bpm.
The tracks on Side B are mixed together. "Come Together" could be influenced by "808 State - Pacific" a bit.
