Reviews
- Same thing here, I've just played it and fortunately it plays fine, no skips or jumps. I play my records on a Pro-Ject Debut Carbon with a Ortofon 2M Blue stylus. To be complete I don't have the promo poster, just the printed insert.
- Edited one year agoPlayed it now, front to back, and it plays perfectly.
There is not even background noise between the tracks almost, which seems to be incredible standing on the all around reviews I read, but..!
Mine came with no Poster, but Honestly, I don't give a Flying F about that, I bought this one to listen to the music. - Same. Mine skips like crazy for the first song on the Rancid side, the NOFX side plays perfectly. I always thought it was my copy, that was bad. I'm glad to read others had the same issue. Well not glad, but...
- I thought the VG copy I got had major issues until I read the reviews - seems like it's par for the course on this one.
By the way - if anyone is willing to part with their insert, let me know... thanks! - Edited 2 years agoAt first I had countless amounts of skipping issues on both sides. Then I ditched my portable 'crosley-like' record player and obtained a "real" turntable. Then I played it on my new turntable and it has zero issues! Tracking force adjustments and overall better equipment can make all the difference in the world sometimes.
- No idea why so many people are having issues here? My copy (VG/VG+) doesn’t sound stellar (no record pressed in the early ‘00s will), but it absolutely does not skip. It’s totally listenable and plays all the way through without any issues. Some copies probably are junk, but I think the issues these folks are experiencing has to do with their players. If you have a legitimate turntable and a respectable cartridge, it’ll work just fine for you. Throw it on a Crosley or something similar and you might have issues.
- Just got it used, pretty much unlistenable on both NOFX and Rancid side. Super disappointing, one of my favorites.
