Issued on gradient blue Virgin labels with an anti-slip ring; initial quantities in a picture sleeve (greyscale print on uncoated light card, horizontal flipbacks at rear with a square thumb cut).
Some copies that were dinked post-manufacture for use in juke-boxes present a large centre hole.

        I'm surprised by this - Virgin's green sleeve didn't come in to existence until late 78 / early 79, whereas "Pretty Vacant" was released summer 77. This looks more like an owner's cross-fertilisation of record and sleeve than an actual release.

          I learned recently of the term "motorik" given to a type of rhythm, especially used by German band Neu!. Of course many punk or post-punk bands used this sort of rhythm in some of their songs and "Pretty Vacant" is one such song I think.

              My copy has labels transposed (ie No Fun side plays Pretty Vacant and vice versa).
              Always wondered how many of these were issued - never heard a reference for it anywhere.

                My copy has the Variant 3 matrix numbers, but the labels are wrong (sides are swapped).
