I recall, back in the day, reading an interview with Billy in one of the popular music mags (probably NME). He stated that the inspiration for the song were two girls that were referred to around town as 'the party fears two'. Seemingly, these two girls would turn up at parties, drunk and continuing to drink and causing no end of trouble. Whenever they crashed a party, people would say "here's the party fears two!".
