I have been enjoying this album for almost 30 years now along with the rest of his catalog. Each album sounds different but is fundamentally Vargs style. Can't recommend this album enough if you haven't had an opportunity to check it out after all these years. I am a proud owner of an original unplayed copy in mint condition of this album. On the spine of this version it just says cymophane then eye001. Didn't see that specified anywhere on this site but thought I'd mention it here for anyone wanting to know. Anyhow Burzum at his finest! A jewel in the past for sure!
good luck finding a real Dureco CD... I have one but I bought it knowing it was damaged, the previous owner didn't know what a CD was and put it on a turntable and severely damaged in a circular motion, so track 4 skips... I paid $150 for it.- One of his best album!!
Before there was only music (and some church`s, sad to say).
This was the first release on another label then first two albums.
And i might say that this is one of his best!
His musical inspiration where at it`s peek and the sound as well.
The song`s are brilliant and the agony in his voice is awesome.
This is true norwegian black metal at it`s best!!
A must buy!!
