Reviews
- For me this is a strange album that should not sound interesting in any way because it breaks all the rules, but that is exactly the point and why is sounds so good.
This is one of those albums that at first you may think all the players are not working together and are breaking loose into free form to express themselves individually.
But that's the point each main element is a combination of smaller elements, so the whole is better than the some of parts.
Every player does their thing to bring this album together Alice, Joe, Charlie, Kenneth, Michael e.t.c. - Edited 9 years agoThe best album by Joe ever. Alice Coltrane's play speaks for it's self. However it's Kenneth Nash's bells and percussion that brings this LP together...almost acts as therapy...like the sound of rainfall does for some people. If this is a in flight song on a trip to the cosmos, I would want this to be played after the anxiety of take-off disipates. #PsychJazz #PutYouInATrance
