Two great tracks that build beautifully and make lovely starting points for a set. Calming, intriguing and engaging, it’s easy to lose yourself in both sides.
The A side brings some buoyant breaks, perfectly paired with satisfying kick patterns and chunky meandering bass. Topped off with the classic DSO synth, pad and delay work, to create that intergalactic vibe found across all their releases.
The B side ups the tempo and goes four to the floor after building the atmosphere throughout the opening few minutes. Again, all elements combine to create a similar astral mood.
So many of the releases from this constellation of artists, aliases and labels are absolute gold dust. To my ears these bring a unique, timeless sound that I never tire of.
btw don't pay stupid prices! you can get this still from Huxtable's shop. Looks web 2.0 but it is reliable.- Edited 6 years ago5/5 release. Interesting, deep, still fresh, surprising for me! Such a nice 12" overall. :)
