The problem with mine is not related to crackles and pops at all. The disc was too wide!! It was actually ever-so-slightly brushing up against part of the turntable causing a micro-pause, but it made the music sound warped. It's like they did not trim the disc down to the right specs, or didn't shave it or whatever they do when they're cutting the vinyl. I had to take a pocket knife and very gently trim around the edge of the disc at the part where it was brushing up against the player. It was tedious but it worked. I put the recrord back on and now it's not brushing up against the player, and it actually sounds really good! It's a quieter pressing like "The Slip" was, so when I put it on I do have to crank up the volume. But there's very minimal popping & crackling.

Terrible pressing. Crackling and popping like nothing else I own. Would not recommend.

I think I will be ordering the picture disk edition as though the packaging is very nice for the splatter version the sound is haunted by impurities and grind. The music I like alot as it is a nice change from all the same old remixes I'm used to.

The brown splatter vinyl is one of the worst pressings in my collection. Once the needle hit the record all I heard was crackle, which eventually became louder than the music, making it virtually unlistenable throughout (a pressing like this may also damage your stylus). Emailed the label several times about this, but never any reply. Very disappointed in this release after the amount it cost.

I bought this and is was a bad pressing. Asked for a new copy and they actually made a few extra pressings, but they were just as bad. So, it sounds good, but there are cracks and stuff.

Great music, horrible pressing. The vinyl surface has obvious marks and pitting, and background noise is very prevalent across the entire album.

The pressing on brown vinyl is really bad. The longer you get into the record the more background noise.
