We're all sad now that this creative man is gone! In the future, is there a chance that this will see a vinyl release? This is incredible work!!!

Great Richard Kirk album where you don't know why you like it so much, but you just do. It's like a third instalment in his album series for Warp. Interestingly, when you search for Richard H Kirk under drinkify.org, a website dedicated to finding the perfect accompaniment to any musician, you receive the answer "4 oz. marijuana: serve neat" which personally I find quite apt. The inside inscription reads "until the colour of a man skin is of no more significance than the colour of his eyes". Word to that Mr Kirk.

"Al Jabr" is Arabic word from title of the earliest algebra (al-jabr) book written by by the Islamic Persian mathematician Muhammad ibn Mūsā al-Khwārizmī, in 820. Another good work of Richard H. Kirk! If you like his early Warp releases or what he do as Sandoz, this album is what you need. Intelligent techno combined with african tribal drums and elements of dub. The main track of the album of course is "Kaleidoscope", feel it, listen it, deep electronic music for body and soul.
