Reviews
- the price is a little too much for me personally cause it is just a standard black vinyl and all you rlly get that is special is a glossy cover and a song with a r4p1st :/… happy i got it when it was still cheap
- Edited one year agoThe sound quality of the vinyl is FIRE ! Songs like 'Aura', 'Swine' or 'Jewels N'Drugs' for instance just play perfectly and we all know how loaded is the production on these ones (and a lot on this record actually) but here they are : just simply beautifully well rendered. Congrats to whoever pressed this. This is exactly what this album deserved and not a compressed horrible muddy digital release that gives headaches.
EDIT: I just played it again but with an Ortofon 2M Blue stylus (I used to have a 2M Red one when I left my previous review) and my God! MY GOD! A total different album. A demo vinyl for sure. Wig snatched. - A repress without Do What You Want is coming: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07X38KVKM
- "A small black sticker is applied to the shrinkwrap." This is a descriptive element which applies only to copies of this release, where the shrinkwrap is still with the record. As soon as the shrinkwrap has been removed (which is usually the case), the sticker is gone. Imho: this information is redundant and should be removed.
- The sound quality is much better than the CD and even the 24bit version on HDtracks!
Especially Dope and Gypsy, her voice in both of them are much crystally clearer than CD and 24bit version.
