I have a dutch pressing of this album but it's a misprint; the label of the record mentions the tracks of the album but when you play it you'll hear the greatest hits album. curious!

According to a contributor here by the name of RobertoArredondo, who researched this release atated that cccording to the Brian Hinton who wrote the book "Bob Dylan Complete Discography," on page 65, confirms that the "John Wesley Harding" LP was released in January 1968 in the USA, and February 23, 1968 in the UK. It also mentions on the SAME page that the recording sessions lasted until November 27, 1967, still needing album mixing, mastering, cover preparation, etc. In other words, THERE IS NO 1967 US RELEASE.

I own a version on vinyl that I couldn't find here. It's made in Holland. It looks old because there's no Barcode on the back. On the left is written "This stereo Recording can also be played in mono. Provided a modern lightweightpickup is used. On the right (instead of Barcode) CB 271; in a circle 57 underneath CBS S63252. Down right stands NL printed in Hollad. The label on record is the CBS label. Not the old orange one neither the red mid-late 80'/90's. It'S the orange öabel on which the C(of CBS) looks like pacman. It's from a library where a return stamp is on dated 1983. Can you tell me what kind of version that is? Thanks!!
