From memory the vocal sample was sampled from The Roots and on one of the Roots albums they did their own version of this and put it as a kinda bonus track at the end.- Edited 10 years agoNice and dirty bass line and a great vocal. This was all before Daft Punk and Cher started to annoy the whole planet with this vocoder. It still rocks in 2013! B-Side: Nice remix of Kraftwerk.
Edited 12 years agoExcellent example (just like Tek 29) of hip hop vocals mixed with techno beats, yep this is truely Schumacher's style.
Heavy sounds and dark lyrics...gotta love the man!
Respekt is a nice progressive tribute to Kraftwerk, using their 'Radioactivity' sounds but with a more powerful kickdrum and with no vocal (unfortunately).
