One of my top albums. This particular pressing is one of two 1989 European pressings. I haven't listened to the other one but the mastering is different so I'm told. This pressing has narrower grooves on side 2 than the other pressing, so in theory the other one should sound better but with that being said this really is a great sounding album. Listening to it right now. For 1989 they really pushed the quality of this record over the edge. Fantastic, I'm told the remastered vinyl (the most expensive pressing, can you believe it) is in fact louder than the 1989 press but still retains the excellent sonics of the original mastering. As it stands I would recommend this press but with that being said the original CD is still excellent, the ones not necessarily better than the other. If you love the album then try and get the vinyl but I wouldn't get hung up about it, taking into account how expensive the record actually is

Without a doubt, the skinniest record I own -- almost paper thin -- but worth it.

Brilliant album and superb pressing from Linn Records. The 2019 reissue sounds just as good to me but is already selling for silly money so my advice is to buy whichever is cheaper. You won’t be disappointed by either... superb sound quality.

So mad the new vinyl remaster released november 29th has been sold out so quickly, I shouldn't have waited that long. Waiting for some comments/opinions about its quality, hoping to find it on sale someday too, but I fear we're gonna see some scandalous prices.

I'd like to see a reissue of this too. I am new to this band, spectacular album.

Can we please please have another vinyl reissue so we don't have to pay stupid money for a copy.
