Reviews
Pretty solid and pretty overlooked effort from Frank Brettschneider, consisting on a trip from dubby ambient landscapes to the syncopated dubby techno variant "clicks and cuts" substyle so popular at Mille Plateaux/Force Tracks/etc at the time. Hits a perfect spot between minimal and, well, funky, thanks to really good ear for production and how to make certain things just melodic enough and certain rhythms just rhythmical enough. Oh Jesus how much I miss that era, and how hated it was.
