I got this when originally released. Pressing is from Pallas (Germany), with poly/paper inner sleeve, and it was stellar at first listen. Properly cared for, it should remain that way. If you're the Beck fan who is more into Sea Change than Odelay, this is one to get.

Fantastic press. Everything pops in just the right way, in just the right areas. Very full sounding press.

Beautiful press, sounds great! Mine was purchased used and was missing the liner notes though so if anyone could point me out to where I could get a copy of the liner notes it would be appreciated

I have to really give this album a lot of credit, it is so special and different from other Beck stuff. Every song is stellar! Sounds great and a must have in any collection!

Great pressing. Do not have a single bad thing to say about it.

Very confusing this one. The US version is pressed in Germany the same as the European version but with a different back sleeve (FBI Piracy Logo on the US version.
When it was released it was suggested there was going to be no European release but only the US German pressing.
It disappeared very quickly and that was meant to be it and the prices increased as expected. A few weeks later the European version came out. Exactly the same pressing but in a European sleeve?
Who knows but I can vouch that the first US version (are their any others?) is excellent.

Outstanding pressing. Immaculate, dynamic, lush and well, perfect.

And the music - well one of the best albums i have heard. I couldn't stand beck, and then he did sea change and this. Pretty incredible how adaptable he is.

Edit: and no wonder its perfect. It's a Grundman.

This is for the 2023 repress. Welp, within 10 seconds of track one starting I heard a massive amount of non-fill noise (sounds like paper or tearing). More popped up during the song so it’s going back to the shop. Otherwise the actual mastering is fabulous and vinyl looks flat and clean.

An absolutely incredible pressing—pristine with an amazing weight and feel. This album has a sonically beautiful sound with minimal surface noise, if any. Don’t blink and just buy😎
