After researching this indeed is the only way you can get ‘I Hadn’t Known (I Only Knew)’ on wax and it’s killing me! As someone that incredibly enjoys this track day in and day out, this has to get some attention for at least a limited run repress. First time I heard the track was on the ‘You Are Here’ compilation from Accidental. There are a number of ways to access the track by means of CD format, but when it comes to vinyl, you gotta dish the money..and I understand the value of this record when it comes to its high prices, it’s a piece of house history, and one of the first records Herbert collaborated with Dani Siciliano with her vocals. It would just be nice for the fans of Herbert that haven’t been lucky enough to stumble across a bargain copy or been around the late 90’s early 2000’s to scoop a copy. But hey at the end of the day, it’s part of the hunt to get what you want in your collection...(It’s just be nice for a repress....okay could you please repress this record Mr. Herbert? <pretty please...?>)

well, to say 'best' is a bit brave because the first few releases on this label are all top notch. Personally this was herberts peak. Essential stuff for your record collection. This particular release will get folk moving outa their seats and grooving on the dancefloor, while sofa lovers will find themselves taken on a little adventure with each track. As with so much of his late 1990's stuff, unfamiliar sounds pop out all over the place, as the groove plods along delicately. you can find this on his album 'Around the house'. An album I put on while eating my breakfast.. great stuff.
