RIP Mimi. One day this catalogue will be wrestled away from the scumbag IP squatters who are denying this a proper reissue.

Badly needs a reissue. Anyone know why it hasn't happened yet? The band is insanely popular.

Yeah, what's up with the licensing for Vernon Yard releases? We need this and Acetone...

This album has been in my wishlist for almost 10 years.
I think i'll never find it a reasonable price....

I gather that most fans of this album purchased it when it came out. I've only just now discovered it, unfortunately. It's like somebody set out to deliberately make a depressing album. I do like the warm atmosphere, but the music slowly plods along with little variation. Every track sounds the same. The instrumentation is sparse, with a preponderance of ride cymbal. Mournful male/female vocals haunt each song until, by the third track, you just can't take it anymore. I could see this being played in a coffee shop back then, but it would have driven away most customers.

Unless you're reliving your depressed glory days of the 1990s (when you really had nothing to be depressed about), avoid this.
