This is one of the best calypso compilations to have been released in the 90s, and is no doubt better than its more common brother cd 'Trinidad Loves to Play Carnival'. Some of the pieces are haunting, especially track 7. I was disappointed that the 'London is the Place for Me' series didn't reproduce any of the rarer pieces, though they were probably recorded in TandT itself. My copy was scratched to an unreadable state back in 1999, if anyone could sort me out I'd be eternally grateful.
