Pops and crackles throughout. Mine skipped twice on B1 so going back for replacement. The tip on sleeve is amazing and made from the stiffest card stock I've ever had (aside from Cleo Sol's LP). Yes its missing poly lined inners but that's easily sorted at home.

This album has all the hallmarks of a badly mixed, over-compressed digital file carelessly mastered onto cheap vinyl. Sterling Sound should know better, however in a competitive marketplace, they will always do as the label asks. This turns what could have been a great album into a noisy disappointment.

Sound: good and clear sound, only some clicks and popping sounds in quieter sections of some songs

Unlike other Discoggers, I wasn't impressed by this pressing (ordered early 2022): the sound was harsh. Some campfire crackles throughout. And in some instances the sound overloaded, when vocals and instruments became loud.

This pressing also has paper inners, which means scratched vinyl right out of the box. The jacket feels a little cheap, with sides that seem like they were cut with a butter knife. Buy the cd if you want to own this.

Review of varient 3, LP re1 in the runout. Seems I’m lucky, my copy sounds great. Label on side A is so off centre it rubs the stylus in the runout, but the disc itself is centred.

Sounds lush, expansive, plenty of treble detail. Very pleased.

Even though my copy has a slight warp on Side 2 of Record 1, this is a fantastic sounding pressing. This is a fantastic band, by the way.

Disc 1 came warped and both discs were very dirty to begin with. Sound ist good after cleaning. Overall satisfied with my purchase

So, I have not played this LP in some time and realized it was not in my Discogs collection. My LP's are black with the following in the runouts.

                  SC-310LP A
                  SC-310LP B Salt
                  SC-310LP C
                  SC-310LP D Salt

No either numbers or letters in the run-out. What version do I have? Thanks. Ric

Really dynamic and deep sound for such a dynamic record. Love this pressing!

Two part question for some kind of mod or admin:
                      1) Why are the variants listed with the first run as 'Variant 2', the second run as 'Variant 3' and then the third run as 'Variant 1'? Am I misreading the Matrix/Runout info? Is the info not telling us that they did one batch, and either ordered more from an uptick in distributor response or because they found some of the issues people are complaining about, and then did it again for a third batch?

                      2) Given that this particular one is getting a lot of mixed responses, is there any thought to separating these three runs into 3 listings to help people see if one of these three is a problem run?
