Show All 13 Reviews- I don't know why I slept on this red hot wax for so long. Ja Know Ya Big is just sublime, and with The Angels Fell on this vinyl too? I wonder why it's not really expensive. Don't get any ideas though, because I'll be fuming if this ever gets marked up.
- Ja Know Ya Big - it might be my favorite jungle/dnb track of all time. Something about it. Doesn't even sound like Dillinja, sounds like coming through him from god.
- 'Brutal Bass' is the cut on this phat slab of dillinja gold. All three tracks are seminal Headz bangers

- Brutal Bass is the pick of an excellent bunch for me, everything a Jungle track should be, deep, dark, sparse with great drums & cavernous BASS !
- Edited 7 years agoThis 12 definitely needs another review. Rarely, a 12 is released that is a complete game changer. This has got to be THE loudest, clearest recorded track on vinyl out there. For clarity, in my opinion it's on a par with Rockit by Herbie Hancock. Whenever I'm setting up my sub in my car, these are the tunes I use. Dark, twisted, the production is rich and atmospheric, The Angels Fell epitomised everything that is great about Jungle/D & B in 95. This twelve is not just about the A side - give it a flip and you are seriously starting to get your money's worth. A decent copy is going for around the 40 quid mark at the moment and it's still worth every penny. Jah know Ya Big is a dark and dirty little number, with plenty going on throughout. Brutal Bass is for me, the real gem here. Dubby and dark, the quality of the production really shows. The keyboards really add atmosphere and menace to the track. It really is brutal. Play it loud and you really start to get the point of this recording. It needs to be played loud to appreciate its greatness. Low volume does in no way do this justice. And do you know what? That's just fine by me.
- The angels fell... If Carlsberg made drum and bass music, this would be... and probably is, the best drum and bass record ever made! F'ing unbelievable!!!!!!
- The Angels Fell and Ja Know Ya Big are two of Dillinjas finest. Remember hearing Dj hype play this in Jan 95. This E.P. was well ahead of its time and I don't think I've ever heard a tune which drops with such ferocity as The Angels Fell. Dillinja was the don back then !!!!
- This is one of the loudest records i have ever owned. The levels were really pushed to the limit with Angels Fell.
