I'm really enjoying the spell with it's tick tock rhythm and at,ospheric jazz samples. Good gear, prefer to the a side.

Arabian Nights is another (Tekniq - Awakening) perfect example of how not to sample. What the commenter below mentioned is also in the 2016 remaster of this song and the VIP mix released in 2020. Who mastered this and the original and thought "Yeah this sounds great even with the volume lowered a bit". Seriously, what were they thinking? If you like like blasting your music through cans or in your vehicle this is one of those songs that need to be lowered by 50% or edit it yourself. Anyway, when ignoring that issue the song is okay.

Great earlier, deep J. Majik drum'n'bass tracks on both sides, definitely on the Metalheadz tip .... I love the amens, bass, instrument and film samples on "Arabian Nights"... But then there is this awful mid-range feedbacky flute noise that busts out a few times through the tune, which ultimately ruins it for me.... it's like broken glass on a chalkboard with reverb, hurts my head. Wish it was toned down a bit .. :(

One of those classic MHZ 12" that set the early vibe for the label. Arabian nigths is Metalheadz at it's finest hour, dark dark drum & bass for those that like that vibe. If you are a collector of MHZ, this is an must have!
