This is one of those records which will stand the test of time in a few decades from now. Amongst thousands of releases out there, if I had to put a name next to the word "distinctive" I would pick up this CD. Great tracks for almost every occasion and every emotion. 10/10
Excellent deep house, trance type music cd. No vocals but lots of heavy basslines and etherial synth breaks. Really a good cd to dance to or even chill with friends. Highly recommended. My favorites, if I had to choose, are Anthem and Rosenberg. All good songs none the less.
Edited 18 years agoThis album was brought to my attention from the Anthem track being included on the Pi soundtrack. I was really expecting alot from this album and when I finally got the chance to listen to it, I was happy to find it lived up to expectations. All the tracks on this album hit me in the right spot but it's the "classic" sounding songs like Anthem, Northern Lights, Purple, and Esja that really blew me away. Ever since I heard it, I've always considered these songs to be of the highest caliber of techno, and hearing them dropped in a mix or at a gathering always puts a smile on my face. Emotional techno for your soul.
