Prince just wanted to bless the world with his music. He jammed out this record to 21 minutes and would have taken it further had he not run out of tape.

Been crazy about this 12'' since its release, 32 years ago. Always playing the European edition and not unhappy at all, soundwise. Yet for the first time wondering if there is a better (US?) pressing. Let's go crazy with this national anthem all-night-long jam. "That's enough."

This long version of america is just a great funky endless jam, absolutly perfect for any fan of prince aswell anybody interested in dance music.. The legendary house pioneer Ron Hardy would play this version in the even legendary nightclub the Musicbox back in the day, the session is so thight you can mix it with a 4to4 drumcomputer track without touching the turntables for minutes
