Simply brilliant. So much variety under one musical umbrella. From synth based instrumentals to more sparse jazz influenced composition. Thank you for the introduction MFM. Now can you please release more back catalog?
When I bought this I went back to all the records they sourced this compilation from to catch up on this great artist whose work was new to me at the time. Turns out they went and pretty much selected the best tracks off a lot of hard to get / obscure stuff. Much respect to the artist and great job putting the comp together by the label. Beautiful pressing and sleeve as well
A hypnotic, deep, and warm feel that I keep on returning to. This hasn't been off my play shelf since purchasing 6 months ago. It reveals something different each time I listen and seems to capture, for me, the essence of quality jazz funk/ambient boogie. As Jochen below states the B side really is something special.
Wtf?! This is one of the most impressive collections of music, i've ever stumbled across. Just can't stop listening to the B-Side and get more addicted with every run. Why haven't I heard about this guy earlier?!
