the surface noise issue is still prevalent on the 2023 repress, improved with a wet clean but still a little too noticeable with headphones on.

It's a good pressing, the problem is the inner sleeve. When you wet clean it and change the inner sleeve with a clear one it is really sounding much better

Great sounding press. Open, dynamic sound with well defined lingering trails that dissolves in shimmering and saturating pools of sound. Wash your vinyl before playing ! Any vinyl! I always read about "surface noise" and I feel like it is 99.9% due to static from unwashed vinyl. Not enough to sweep or brush it - you need to get it wet.
Also, just an observation, but this is not 200g. It clocked in at 186g . With sleeve it is a little over 200g. Does the sleeve count?

Absolutely PERFECT in every department. No ticks or pops at all! What a sound!!!! 10/10

Full of static initially. Gave it a wet clean and it plays fine with a few pops here and there. Probably still some static. There is some discoloration or residue on the surface that cleaning would not remove. The edges of my copy are very sharp, as though the excess cutter on the press was misaligned. I almost dropped the record I was alarmed at how sharp the edge is. The sound is pretty good, though. Not a bad copy if you can get one at a reasonable price.

Super nice. A few clicks here and there. Each time I clean it shows improvement. Nice deep sound.

My copy sounds fine so far, other than a couple of clicks. It's had a wet clean so that may have helped, though the record doesn't look any cleaner visually than it did beforehand.

Yes, mine too. A really bad pressing, i guess...This album deserves MORE CARE!

Does anyone else think this pressing has quite a lot of surface noise?
