- Edited 8 years agoFantastic and instantly cult release.. for me the best record so far in 2014.
The music, artwork and videoclip are simply outstanding.
The 80s horror aesthetic has become more and more popular as a reference point in recent years, but this record proves few can do it as well as Umberto.
For those curious what 'La Llorona' is, the name refers to Mexican folklore of a banshee-type ghost with a wailing voice ("La Llorona" is literally "The Weeping Woman") who kidnaps wandering children.
Only minor complaint of this record is that at least some (maybe all?) copies have an off-centre hole, meaning you have to manually centre the record on the turntable, or DIY your own 45 adapter. - Edited 7 years agoGreat release with a fantastic artwork and two catchy dance floor tracks, this single can be described as a Gesamtkunstwerk!
- Anyone know of a distributor within the US or UK that is carrying this? $36 after shipping for a 7" is just a little too pricey!
