Reviews
- My favourite RSD '14 purchase! Well worth the wait on vinyl. It's very quiet pressing and the ear-drum-thumping bass is just glorious.
- Worth the wait to get this belter on vinyl. I'm horrified it's seven years old already, and I can't fathom why Kompakt didn't see fit to press it on LP in the first place, but all's well that ends well and it sounds fantastic. This album always sent me back to obscure, half-remembered places - none of which I'd necessarily been to - but even the memory of discovering The Field is nearly a decade old now so its evocations are nearly as intricate as the music itself.
- it is available on the label's web store
http://www.kompakt.fm/releases/from_here_we_go_sublime_2xlp_cd - I went to 3 Record shops around Washington DC, they have lots of availability of the album, got it easily.
- This is available through Kompakt's web store and is listed on various other online outlets as upcoming (e.g. Juno). Thankfully Kompakt are good people unlike may of those involved with RSD. Don't pay the inflated prices listed here.
- Edited 10 years agoMy friend in California said neither of the shops near his house got any copies, and neither of the shops near me got it either.
