It began as a LONDON THING!!!..... following hot on the heels on the resurgent popularity of 'Be Bop Dancing' was 'You Did It Good' which in absence of a single release turned this album into one of the most sought after that year (1987). A revival of a song which originally began in the inner city blues dances and parties migrated of course to radio play on the increasingly vibrant pirate radio scene in London. Of course the rest is history, for an album that fully deserves it's place in the 'Rare Groove' hall of fame lol. Typically as with most black music of the period only the Japanese have reissued this [on CD} although this or course was not until some 20 twenty years later.
