Reviews
- Edited 6 years agoNOTHING beats Bestial Invasion, simply THE NO 1. THRASH RIFF OF ALL TIMES!!! NO matter who you are in thrash, Mustaine, Hatfield, Hammett, Ian, Holt, Hannemann/King, Petrozza, Blackfire...as great as you might be, Mike will always be greater. HAIL ARTISTICS GREAT DESTRUCTION!
- Bestial Invasion remains perhaps the best thrash riff of all time but the album itself was a slight disappointment to me when all was said and done. A little too formulaic and math even in those days,, evidenced I guess by the absurd re--invention of their earlier material, and predilection of perfection when none was required. 'Release from Agony' in that sense is perhaps the great Destruction output in the end. No question however ''Bestial Invasion" is one of the greats, and was the peak of Speed Kills II compilation as well as this album.
