Reviews
- Back in the 2000´s this was certainly one of my favorite industrial metal albums, but then something changed. However, recently I was going through my old cassette collection, and decided to put this on, and the magic was instantaneously back.
It appears that the CD (which had become my only means of hearing this album for the last 20 years) mastering is unbelievably inferior to the cassette.
Thus, I purchased a vinyl copy, and I can also state, that along with the cassette, it is an entirely different animal than what one may have become accustom to with the CD.
TLDR: AVOID THE CD & BUY EITHER THE CASSETTE OR VINYL; monumentally superior presentations. - I have the SVLP 055 version. It sounds really great, but here's hoping we get an official high quality vinyl reissue one day, that is cut from the original master tapes. Not holding my breath though.
- I ended up snagging one of the recent white boots from eBay from one of the original sellers ($50) and I gotta say, it sounds a lot clearer & more crisp than the Hot Topic red 2xLP from 2013.
Ive not heard how the Simply Vinyl 98 pressings sound yet in person, but I was able to find a 24-bit HRA FLAC rip online.
I transcended space & time when I heard it, I kid you not. Granted, it was like 2.5GB of FLAC, but its worth every damn byte. LOL - Still waiting on the pitched anniversary reissue, been swept under the carpet & forgotten about. Needs a reissue to kill off these crazy prices
- Used to love this record in 1996 and also Spice Girls 1996 "Spice" album.
I'd like to read a book or see a film about all the people that got kicked out of school or expelled in part for liking Marilyn Manson. - I would like to see a reissue of this classic....but music industry is sleeping...& after they complain about illegal MP3 downloading & music piracy...
