Though I have listened to this album already 25 years ago nearly monthly, it still thrills me to the bone anytime. More than any other spooky sounding heavy rock album does to me. The album's ambiance slightly gets spookier without losing any rawness (except for the songs 'You're No Different' and 'So Tired') with the final song 'Spiders' letting the mysticism evolve into a kind of mellow, spooky sleep as a very creepy fairytale alike open end. Not any other album from Ozzy's solo career is near the mystic level of this one. This album is mostly akin to 'Paranoid', Black Sabbath's second album. But Bark At The Moon sounds much more modern and builds up the suspense in presumably an unprecedented way in heavy rock history.
Synthesizers are used with a blend of imaginary incense, as background instruments compared to the way they are used for horror movie soundtracks. But the heavy guitars overwhelm nearly every song in a raw, electrifying way!

Am I reading this right? "All songs written by Ozzy Osbourne"? How does that work when you can't play an instrument or even form a coherent sentence?

          I have this copy.

Side A matrix has the "2E" at the end scrubbed with the engraver and replaced afterwards with "2F."
          Reads as AL - 38987 - 2F
Side B matrix has no corrections and reads as BL - 38987 - 2F

Anyone got any idea? The rest of the details match up completely.
          Cheers, Dylan

shouldn't this be merged with that one here Ozzy Osbourne - Bark At The Moon? I could not find any differences.
