Reviews
- It's the best album ever made, happy to debate this till the end of days with any willing participant.
- "K" has been a favorite for a few years, but listening to this vinyl through good headphones is an absolutely otherworldly experience. I honestly can't believe how good this sounds-- the depth and definition are just stunning. It's not an exaggeration to say this is one of the best vinyl pressings I've ever heard of any record, anywhere. Further Records did Donato Dozzy proud with this reissue and delivered a phenomenal gift to all fans of high quality deep-ambient-etc dub techno. If you already like Dozzy or Voices from the Lake or any whatever-techno at all, or anything else good, buy this album right now!!!!!
- Anybody out there who can shed some light on the exact differences between the tape version and the vinyl version? Also, is it true that a ten minute version of K6 exists? Read about it on the forum at RA. Thanx in advance.
- Edited 10 years agoDifferences between first press and repress: The cover is not silkscreened but looks a bit like a blurred photo of the original. It has a few blue spots on both sides like from lens flare. The text "Sunt lacrimae rerum et mentem mortalia tangunt" isn't written in gold but printed in black letters below the bar code and label logo on the back side. On the labels the tracks are titled as K1 - K7 and a label logo is printed on them, too. The text in the notes section is on a black sticker on the shrink wrap. The records come in black polylined sleeves. I can't read the signature in the runout, not sure if it says Rashad, but don't quote me on that.
