Reviews
- This record is by far the coolest one I have. It sounds good, and has a wide variety of music styles from jack white. It also looks cool. I have the entire vault package.
- Not only is this record, a little bit scratchy to listen to, it also has such a scary cover. I have to hide it behind another record, when I go to bed, so I don't accidentally wake up and see it in the middle of the night and get frightened. I do wish that Jack White had put something a little less ominous on the front, like a picture of him holding some cute and fluffy kittens, or something!!
- Quality control on this release was terrible. My record has a huge indentation in the same spot on both sides where the songs are unplayable. Unacceptable for the price!
- Just picked this up today and I'm a little bit disappointed by how fuzzy/noisy it is. Anyone else have this problem?
Also my electric intro to "Just One Drink" skipped when it was supposed to merge to the main track. Is this a tone arm problem? - This a good album and a worthy follow up to the excellent Blunderbuss and the Ultra LP features are interesting, if somewhat gimmicky. In my experience the "inside-out" nature of Side A makes cueing the first track a pain! I've also never been able to get the hologram to show. A nice package for the collection though.
- I just picked this up from Amoeba Records in SF on 2/7/15 and both sides have side one stickers. Is this a known production flaw or is mine just special?
- i'd like to buy this album but i'm really wondering if side A playing from the inside out is problematic or not...? the stylus can be damaged, am i right ? inverse force on the stylus + antiskating....?
