- The LP Neil tried to bury and disown for a while. In a way this is Neil's Blood On The Tracks. The highly personal and at times biting lyrics displeased some of the West Coast crowd. After its initial 74 - 75 release it didn't get a reissue in the US until 1999 when Neil finally relented. Personally, I think this is a masterpiece along with Tonight's The Night.
- The 1-H/ 1-H cut is an exquisite sounding record- the kinda vinyl to show naysayers just how much depth can be heard on a great sounding LP. There’s massive, clear low end and clarity across the frequency spectrum. Outstanding.
- Edited one year agoIf anyone is searching this album on vinyl, Antique Galleria in Paducah, KY has several copies for sale a/o 11/25/2023.
- Hello, recently I've came across a sealed copy of this album, is there anything to denote whether its a first press besides opening it? I have strong feeling it is based on the collection it came from but just wondering if anyone knows? Thanks!
- Recently bought this record. Great pressing! My copy came with a lyric insert. Does anyone else have this insert? I’m curious, since it’s not mentioned in the description/notes.
- mine has all matching runout numbers, but ends in RCA-1J with STEREO on the labels. i don't see any other RCA pressings, so this must be the one? lots of tiny variations like that in these older NY records.
- Edited 10 months agoMy fave Neil, or right up there. Massey Hall is spellbinding and prolly the #1. Harvest Moon so good too. Gold Rush...so many.
