Reviews
- Is Looking Forward to You supposed to have a pop that goes pretty much the whole way through? The clips online all have it.. bizarre choice if intentional.
- You guys think this will get repressed?? I really hope so because this is the best thing i've listened to in years
- "Looking Forward To You" is the personal favourite on this for me... it's funky and smooth af bassline gravitates people towards the dance, and that lovely uplifting synth-break, about 2:40 mins through, makes it all worthwhile... and obviously "Something (On My Mind) is a great one to open up with a silky tone
- Love this release, especially Something (On My Mind). That one somehow never gets boring for me, despite almost no change happening. Anyone happen to know what instrument is playing those main chords (or what sample it is)? Really interesting texture achieved with that part.
- The record reads 33 1/3 RPM, but Something (On My Mind) appears to be too slow at that speed... Is anyone else getting this problem? What RPM is this track supposed to be at.
- In my opinion A long track like "Something..." needs a change or some sort of development. It's a nice vibe, but it's the same chord progression for 10 min straight. Maybe a solo somewhere at least?
- Has anyone else noticed a repetitive popping/crackle sound on Looking Forward To You? I thought it was my needles but it's on the Youtube video as well. Might just be part of the original recording, I know he bounces stuff to tape...
