I think that waterfalls is quite a great tune, however in every youtube version and other online versions (e.g. beatport) the 3am mix seems to contain some major distortion in the bass sounds. it's noticable right at the start of the tune and throughout. can anybody guide me as to whether this is present on the record or if it is due to a bad remaster being spread about. cheers
edit: the distortion seems to be present on the 3am and daybreak mixes as well, just not as noticeable due to smaller bass presence

Andrew Rags Richardson's (and Roger S.') "Waterfalls/Feel It" release on Strictly Rhythm is definitely one of the cornerstone releases of my cherished NYC deep, jazzy collection from the early 90s. After people felt that house music had died (in the states) with major labels pretty much divorcing themselves from house vinyl and hip house fading, up comes this new, jazzy, sophisticated sound from NY around 1990. Also includes releases from Nu Groove, Nervous, among others
