John Chevalier – Lickin'

Underrated EP. The 3 tracks are very interesting.
Lickin’ feels more like techno to me. Very good combo of acid’ish bass and raw kicks.
Clasp the crystal is a deeper track, also very good. The breaks are delightful with few elements. Distorted Stabs go out thru the track, as well as some great distorted vocals.
Glass Faces feels more housy to me, also slower but it’s a banging track. Very groovy and yet very simple. The first break introduces ravy stabs that will definitely please some 90’s lovers.

I play every track from time to time, they’re all great
