I’ve heard mixed things about this remaster but the sound is much warmer and more faithful to the mix IMO. Leans heavier into the psychedelic colorings and less into the pop sheen. Maybe won’t have that crispness that the original had but there’s so much more to appreciate and get lost in when you listen here.

I love everything about this record and this pressing. You can hear some audio tearing if you turn it up really loud, but if you keep it at a reasonable volume this pressing should pose no problem to anyone.

My version has the RSD "newly remastered from the analog tapes" sticker but isn't numbered. Great pressing, not sure I really buy this album was recorded to analog or that this was cut straight from tape (the mix may have dubbed to tape and then transferred back to digital for effect) but the quality of the vinyl is exquisite with very little surface noise and this is the most enjoyable version of the record I've heard.
