- Edited 2 years agoDoes anyone know how much these were pressed on CD back then? Cirith Ungol in the late 90s wasn't the hottest name around and the original vinyl was still to be had for couple of coins with a decent luck. So is it lame to assume around 2000-3000 copies were pressed at first? As said there's a lot of pirate copies around nowadays.
- Edited 2 years agoThere is well made Bootleg Replica CD's of these Cirith Ungol 1999 pressings with DOCdata Germany matrixes. The matrix font is different and no mould IFPI code. The printing quality on the replica's is darker (poorer) than on the originals. The paper quality and disc weight is almost the same. Check the images of item. Left side: original, right side: replica.
