Great album without question. I believe that all of the tracks have now been released, separately, on various legitimate CDs as bonus tracks. I once had a list of the tracks on The Great Lost Kinks Album and their details (i.e. what made that track unique, its original source, including the specific version, the edit, whether mono/stereo, different vocals, etc.) and where that track has since been released (e.g. "released as a bonus track on the 1998 Essential label edition of 'Arthur'"). I have since lost that list but would love to see someone post it who has preserved that information better than I have.

This is a record is essential in any respectable Kinks collection. It amazes me it is not more sought after.

This was an actual U.S. release, They first learned of the album's existence from the US Billboard record chart. Davies instituted legal action against Reprise, which resulted in Reprise discontinuing the album in 1975. I have the original.

This is NOT the Great Lost Kinks album that I had back in the 70's or '80's. The one I had had the same cover, but it was a double album, and contained a lot of tracks that are missing on here. Like Autumn Almanac, Dead End Street, and maybe 10 more. Just the two I have listed would be a significant loss to such a collection. Obviously there is another version of this album out there somewhere, and it would be worth significantly more than those listed on here: there is more to the Great Lost Kinks Album than meets the eye here.
