Gil Scott-Heron, the most dangerous musician alive, is at his best in these recordings, musing on black history, the ghosts of America's past. He also performs live with Amnesia Express at the Wax Museum Club and recites some og his greatest poems. Song like "Johannesburg", "Angel Dust", and "Gun" are deeply disturbing portraits of world politics powerfully produced for the concert stage. (Directed by acclaimed documentary filmmaker Robert Mugge).
