Advanced Records label owner Ade Fenton joins the growing ranks of European contributors to the Melbourne-based Wetmusik imprint with the label’s tenth 12 inch release to date. The Purification EP is slammin’ synthetic techno built for the purists. With a complex arrangement of short, sharp chords and hats layered over a tough, humming bass drum loop, this track will exorcise the demons, Ade Fenton style!

B1 - Bitch

The second offering on this three-track release is equally tough techno, but engineered for late night dancefloor mayhem, as thrashed by Mr Jeff Mills in front of a packed Melbourne crowd in March. This track carries a similar synthetic melody but is more bottom-end driven, with the fattest bass drum in the southern hemisphere.

B2 - Contrast In Blue

The final track on the Purification EP is a sophisticated combination of washy, droning high-end synths and tight percussion to create an awesome, building electronic storm that can turn any techno set into a complex, eerie sound scape. Intelligent techno at its finest.
