Reviews
- This one LIVED in my crate from the moment it came out in '94, and I used it in many different small room, and regional outdoor parties as a weapon to stun people with. Microlover is bliss, and Desire is the melancholy. Each in their own way. Destroy everything in sight.
- It's all about Desire and Microlovr. Techno doesn't get much more sensuous than on these two beauties.
- Desire always reminds me of that time I spent atop a mountain mourning my lost love somewhere in the outer reaches of the known universe....
- This record is amazing, Desire and Microlovr especially, once heard the tracks stay with you forever. Essential to any serious collector.
- Edited 11 years agoDesire is such an astonishingly beautiful and piercing piece of art, "tear inducing perfection".
- This might very well be one of the most treasured pieces of vinyl in my collection. First time I heard the track "Desire",
was from a promo-cassette for a compilation called "313", I guess this was in 1992. I liked it a lot, but it wasn't until
I heard this track in a club that I realised it's impact. I then got hold of a copy of this EP. To me this is very much the
essence of Carl Craig's production compiled into a 4 track EP. It is danceable raw funk, it is beautiful Detroit strings,
and not least it's an unmistakeable Carl Craig production. It has been almost continuously in my bag since day one,
the sleeve is a bit ruffled and fluffed, but it still plays really good.
