Want to add something Ive noticed.. this lp of sorts sounds better, to my ears than the music gallery "deep inside you"(3 tracker)
version on both tracks deep inside and love is a hurting things, Ive compared the two music gallery releases side by side...

the deep inside 3 tracker version, sounds louder..brighter and not as good, it for some reason is louder,
the brightness difference, is not a good things, it sounds harsher than the lp version(music gallery) I dont know why this is the case, I find it alot harder to listen to the deep inside you 3 track 12 inch versions of "deep inside u" & "love is a hurting thing"
compared with the lp on music gallery which is easier on the ears! not as harsh bright sounding, and seems to have more "room" in it, Im not a mastering engineer & dont know why there would be a difference the 3 track deep inside u, seems more squashed to my ears, I find it harder to listen to, and I also noticed than equal settings on my gain on my mixer, the leds for the 3 trackers, are alot higher on the meter, it is louder at same gain and I dont think this is a good thing.....

I am not the owner of any of these origs, Ive just setup a music room and have been listening to this continously last week..
Ive nothing to a/b against, but this record is quite fine to my ears... I would also take onboard barryblancos comments about the age of this recording.. its been very pleasing listening to this version the last week entire long!
Deep inside has very powerful snare action for some reason, but at a lower volume I didnt notice this anymore, I thought it was a bit in your face to the rest of what was going on, maybe that was how it was orig mixed, or maybe it was the remaster job, very fat intensity which seemed out of place with the music.. My go to track is "love is a hurting thing" and I can confidently say there is absolutely nothing wrong with this track on this vinyl, it is, without having an orig, how good a piece can sound on vinyl.. not hearing the orig, I can still say I cant fault it remastered or not, its super pleasing to my ears!
I noticed some of one or two other tracks, have a slightly over the norm crackling experience going on, whether this is because these where mastered from vinyl, I cant say or whether they are just less busy, more sparse bit of music that makes it more noticeble, but seems a bit unnatural to vinyl play of the usual sort. Also I would def like to state on both the vinyl and cover clearly states/claims "licensed from whisenhunt records" Im not too sure if this is a bootleg or not becuase of this and some of the other credits on the record....

Such a crappy reissue / bootlegging job for such an amazing piece of music.
Ubiquity, where you at with this?

I agree with barryblanco here - source dependant. Level wise it's decent. I A/B'd it with the 12" though and it sounds pretty similar sonically...

              Step up Ubiquity indeed.

One question - is this a boot?? I've heard several conflicting stories...

Keeping in mind that this was recorded 40 years ago and probably not in a state of the art studio, and being remastered from vinyl, this sounds fine. Now its up to ubiquity to prove me wrong.
                Hope I am!

The concept of half-speed mastering is tempting me, also respect to MG Recordings for their cover art on this lp. BUT, the engineering ££ will be much higher from Ubiquity, and if they take in all the blog comments, they might pull off a real gem of a re-issue.
As for Juno, it's pretty bad of them to put a YouTube sample on their website. It gives absolutely no gauge on what they are selling us. Disappointing to hear this.

According to Juno Record's staff the audio clips posted doesn't comes from this LP (that isn't still available in their store) but are taken from Youtube for sample purposes only, but they say that the audio quality could be as good as the EP release or even better, because this was mastered in half-speed.
Another point I have noticed is that from the Ubiquity there is no explicit mention about unofficial releases from Music Gallery but they tell only about their new official compilation containing also other songs taken and recorded directly from other Gloria's 7 inches.
