Reviews
- A lot of what is considered by many today as modern comedy can be linked back to Richard Pryor whom many say is the greatest stand up to ever live. This album is regarded as Pryor's finest, the pinnacle of his career. What he did that many others were not attempting to, was to be completely open and honest about the trials and tribulations of his life leading up to this point. That and the fact that he was one of the greatest storytellers in stand up make this album a stone cold classic in comedy.
