- Edited 3 years agoQuestion: I've heard that both my friend and his former flatmate's copies of this record feature the stripped down rhythm track "Dem a Roots" (as appears on here: https://www.discogs.com/The-Light-Of-Saba-Africa-Word-Sound/release/3997735 ) pressed onto B2 instead of the full 6:22 version of Roots (the latter of course having a bass line and a far more elaborate range of lyrics). He's sent me digital of it and it's completely different to the version I have on my copy of Mi Cyaan Believe It. I'm pretty sure they can't be the only two people with this pressing. I'd be interested to hear how many people have this pressing (or any other pressing with this tracklist) and am equally curious to know why it hasn't got its own listing here on discogs. Whether it's a mispress or a deliberate variant I'd quite like to get to the bottom of it. Thanks in advance.
